Habitat International
Volunteers provide most of the labor, and individuals and organizations provide money and materials to build Habitat houses. Partner families must provide 400 hours of "Sweat Equity" labor to help build their homes. Their mortgage payments also help to build additional houses.
We have built a total of 24 homes in Autauga and Chilton counties. Our 25th home is currently under construction. We are proud of our participation in the tithing program with Habitat for Humanity International and through that program, we have built homes for another 17 families in Guatemala and Mexico.

Important News!
We are launching our first annual campaign to raise funds for our HELPING HERE AND HELPING HAITI campaign. Our goal is to raise funds to build more homes in Autauga and Chilton counties, but also to do our part ot help with the rebuilding efforts in Haiti by Habitat for Humanity International. When you donate locally, you are also acting globally. As part of a house matching program, we will not only address the needs of our neighbors right here in our service area, we will also be reaching out to our brothers and sisters in need in Haiti. We need monthly donors who can give $10, $20, or more per month for the next year. Our goal is to specifically raise enough funds to build an additional home in Autauga County, an additional home in Chilton County and at least two homes in Haiti. Many want to be part of rebuilding Haiti, but can't make the trip. When you donate and help build locally, you are helping to rebuild in Haiti too. Please consider partnering with us to build a better future here and in Haiti. We are a 501 (c) (3) tax deductible charity and will provide tax donation receipts for donors.
